Instant Analysis is Sniper's morning news service.  Unlike other services, Sniper
provides both news
and analysis.  Our analysts have over 15 years of experience and
are trained to develop trading ideas on the fly.  Furthermore, unlike other services that
force you to scan all of their output, Sniper's can be formatted to show you news on
specific sectors, or even to be delivered to you by Yahoo Messenger.

Our news is categorized on our website so that news can be printed on a sector by
sector basis. This way our news can be used as notes for your morning trading
meetings.  The printouts are useful for your traders so that they can be certain that they
have not missed anything important in the sectors they are responsible for.

Having the news delivered by IM is also important because it allows traders and PMs to
focus their attention on other things, while still knowing that they will have a full record
of what is happening that can affect their trading.

What's more, each day you will receive trading ideas that we develop from the day's
news or from the technical analysis performed by our analysts. To make it easier to
distinguish a Sniper Research trading idea from a news story,
all trading ideas are
printed in blue type.
This service is very popular with the traders in our client base.

Tear sheets are spreadsheets Sniper puts together for companies about to report
earnings. We take the quarterly income statement estimates from three different sell-side
analysts and put them side by side on one spreadsheet and add a column that averages
the three.  We have found that often times "beating the consensus EPS estimate" is not
enough to guarantee that a stock rises on its earnings release date.  Sophisticated
investors are looking at how the EPS was derived, whether or not the company beat the
sales estimate, and/or whether divisional margins met expectations.

Our Tear Sheets are designed so that PM's and traders can just plug in the reported
results and see automatically whether or not the consensus was met, whether margins
were in line...the tax rate, shares out-standing...anything and everything that could have
an impact on the stock's trading that day.

On the day when the earnings are reported, we personally fill in the tear sheets on an
“as requested” basis and adjust the results for any charges or gains that are
nonrecurring, and make comments on the earnings quality.   The earnings tear sheets
we produce are done on a “on request” basis and all clients are allowed to request
unlimited tear sheets throughout earnings season.

As "buy-side" analysts, we are often invited to go to sell-side industry conferences.
While at the conferences we sit in on presentations and meet with management teams.
Wireless devices allow us to send our notes from these conferences out as soon as the
meeting is concluded.  No waiting...you know the key points from the meeting as soon
as it is finished.  If a company gives earnings guidance during their presentation, we use
the instant messenger on the wireless device to send out the heads up as the guidance is
being given.  Although it is very hard to beat the press release that is given to the press
as the meeting is started...we have managed to do just that on occasion, giving our
clients an edge for the quick trade!  While at the conference, we will also pick up extra
copies of the handouts for clients if we know in advance, which companies they are
interested in.

We usually pick out which companies we will sit in on in advance and post it to our
event calendar.  We will sit in on meetings at conferences on a "request of client" basis,
and requests are taken on a first come first served basis.  We also take notes from
earnings conference calls and from web presentations.  Generally, if you want good
notes taken, and you can't do it yourself, we are the ones to call!
